Generosity —

Growing a generous community

Everything at Hawkridge is funded by the joyful giving of our members — no grants, no endowments, just ordinary people putting generosity at the heart of their budgets. Last year we gave over 9,000 volunteer hours and funded twelve mission partners.

How giving works here

Regular giving

Most members give monthly by standing order — a planned first-fruit that funds staff, buildings and mission. Contact the office and we'll send the details and a Gift Aid form, which adds 25p to every £1 at no cost to you.

Sunday offering

Baskets are passed during the offertory hymn at both Sunday services, and a contactless point stands in the foyer. Visitors should never feel obliged — your presence is the gift.

Gifts in wills

A legacy to Hawkridge funds ministry for generations to come — the Sanctuary roof, the Pantry van and the youth camp all carry the names of faithful givers. Speak to James for a confidential conversation.

Where does the money go?

Our accounts are independently examined and presented to the whole church every April: roughly half funds our staff team, a quarter keeps our buildings warm and open seven days a week, and over a tenth goes straight to mission partners at home and abroad.
